Shashuka

Ingredients for 4

6 Tomatoes
2-5 Eggs
1-2 Garlic cloves

1 Tsp Paprika sweet
1 Tsp Paprika spicy
1 Tsp Sugar

Salt
Olive oil

 

Prepare

♥ Halve 6 tomatoes
♥ Peel and finely chop 1-2 cloves of garlic

 

Cook

Sauté 1-2 cloves of garlic in oil

Over medium heat, add 1 tsp sweet paprika and 1 tsp hot paprika

Increase the heat and add the halved tomatoes

Deglaze with 200ml water

Boil once, then peel off the skins of the tomatoes

Crush the tomatoes with a fork

Add1 tsp salt and 1 tsp sugar

Let the lid simmer until the consistency is creamy

Make small holes in the sauce with a spoon and crack the eggs directly into the tomato sauce – one at a time
